okay i am going nuts here. this is my 1st ps3 cfw mod/hack/whatever its supposed to be called, here is my problem, i have 2 backups Borderlands, and God of War collection (god of war 1 and 2), i get a black screen when trying to load the games. just a black screen no restarting to the ummm i think "dashboard" of the ps3 (i may be mixing up the terms from xbox and ps3). here is what i have, a fat ps3 40gb spiderman combo(it came with spiderman 3 bluray) i have installed 3.55 kmeaw cfw and multiman 4.20.00 also i have upgraded the hdd to a 320 sata drive 7200rpm, from a 40gb 5400 rpm hdd. also i have bdemu.pkg and lv2.pkg to fix permissions. also the bluray lens is scratched but the bluray will eject and try to read.

so please i am at my wits end here (yea yea a short trip) any ideas advice? and also if i have left any info out that is needed im sorry!

R u trying to boot from internal or external and try hermes ayloads also called bdemu2

i am booting internal both games say they work from internal booting without disc in drive. and bdemu2 did not work :-( still at a black screen.

In multiman, under the game options. Try and run permissions. Also click internal.

Borderlands " dont work discless so if u not got a fully working bluray drive ,it wont work and will give u black screen "



God of War collection " if the disc is not the NTSC (BCUS98229) version then it wont work discless , as this it the only version that will run discless any other version will give u black screen "

thank you for the information , im going to try to find the ntsc version of GOD of WAR collection. and give that a shot, ill let you know in the forum how it goes . unless you have a lead on where to find it. agian thank you.

after a bit of checking (BCUS98229) that is the version i have i also re ubtained a copy of the ntsc version and same thing black screen.
