I am not at home atm. You can try it with any disc you want. The ps3 reads the update file.
To get the screen your hdd MUST me corrupted! And i found this by accident. I am A web exploiter not a ps3 exploiter so don't expect too much from me. Try and post I typed this from my iphone@ work |

there isnt a possiblity that the HDD cant read what OS installed so it will install any OS that he can use?

It doeant matter if it is corrupt or not. u can put a new hdd in and get the same results. This is not an exploit. Sony thought anout this before the ps3 came out hence the media storage option for new fw. Not home for x amount of hours. U work for fixconn? And it is not ur ps3 u said that it was on. So being at home dont matter. 20 buckssays that the ip u posted rhat from is not a mobile ip acct.
