Guys give him a break, it is not the first time I have heard of this happening. On another forum about 6 months it happened to another member, he had a corrupt hard drive and the ps3 install the PUP that was on the disc in the drive.

What have you done to that console, where have your friend bought it, when did he buy it? what the hell was installed in the machine when he acquired...

I can see that one of this two things, you would provide proof if you could, and the fact that you can't is:
1- you never did this in the first place and you are trying to bull**** everyone
2- you did it but you haven't been able to reproduce it on other machines.

Which brings me to the QA flag conclusion.
that it was a machine that was previously QA flagged and apparently the flag stayed and you were able to downgrade through the disk (which we know the qa flag does)

but then again comes the problem QA flag does not stay beyond 3.56.

Right now the question is not the fact you downgraded magically from 4.11 but the fact that you probbably have done it on QA flagged machine, so we need to verify that, someone that does not have a problem upgrading and downgrading the machine (has flasher, or doesn't mind losing the CFW) have fifa 11 and can qa flag the machine.
