reinstall the fw in fsm
but make sure he using the correct lv2diag
the fw isnt installing fully thats why he gets that error
he should check the log file on usb stick after to see if failed or not

Everyone is worried about good backup and flash well surprise.. also worry about not even getting there ! My slim CECH2004 has 2 damn screws that i think are just glued there , what should i do to them , should i heat them up and try to unscrew or drill them right trough the middle ?

Have you tried using a slightly larger bit. And press firmly to unscrew?

I unscrewed them eventually but problems keep appearing , HDD bay is not detachable for slim which makes the Flasher insertion really tricky .

I have the same question. I noticed somewhere back in this thread about connecting the computer to the E3 board and updating with a file. (Cant remember the name right now. Will re-read after posting.) I wanna try this but I just want confirmation.

You can check your error at the bottom of this manual.

Most likely it is this

Failed to initialize PS3 BIOS

Which means your clip isn't connected good enough.

Hi. I downgraded, installed CFW, but whilst on holiday, my son upgraded to OFW 4.1. Can I re downgrade again using the still-installed E3?
