You are right.
The disk function was removed to save space.
jb2usb was created by TB to kill off JB-king.
It will always have less functions then TB, but will
keep up to JB-king as the cheaper alternative

funnily enough.. theres enough space as we've since found out.
All I can guess is that it was to either make it less appealing or to piss off the resellers even more than when they told them there would be no more disc games

@Warning . You say it'll keep up to jb king,does that mean that some fantastic dev will be able to take the jb king 2.5 update and modify it so it'll work on jb2usb???
