You can't resize the png fella. When testing why I couldn't re-size I checked out the custom_render_plugin.sprx and it's seems most .xml commands have to marry up with the rco.

The size of the gameboot logo seems to be set within a module just like when you change ICON0.PNG it has to be 320x176 man. My evidence and findings are rather simple to explain.

You can have an animation called SlideOut in an rco. SlideOut is basicly move fella. So you tell the rco to load the gameboot logo then move to a new position say top of the screen but as it moves it begins to dissappear. Just like a balloon floating in the air but your looking through a window if that makes sense.

You can have a re-size animation that works though. I will add that in when I update the files again lol.

@ samson

Didn't mean to miss ya fella lol. Well I have spent 4 hours doing part 1 video tutorial of the coloured wave man so should be up and running at the end of the week.

As for sounds in themes man it's quite easy. Within the theme .xml you need to add a setable like this

<setable>
<se id="se_decide" left="se_decide_2.vag" right="se_decide_1.vag"/>
<se id="se_cursor" left="se_cursor_2.vag" right="se_cursor_1.vag"/>
<se id="se_cancel" left="se_cancel_2.vag" right="se_cancel_1.vag"/>
<se id="se_system_ok" left="se_system_ok_2.vag" right="se_system_ok_1.vag"/>
</setable>

You will need to create short .wav sounds then convert them to .vag and re-name them. It doesn't matter about the left and right channels you can just copy use the same .vag for both man.

You can always edit the sounds permantley by editing the system_plugin.rco with rcomage.exe fella. That way you can change your trophy and fatal error sounds.

Added restore to youtube and here.

Download - http://www.mediafire.com/?g49azsbz4lqqyzq

Copy the customize folder to your usb and install with XMB Customize to get back to the original gameboot.

The coloured bubbles (particles) automaticly show when you are using the original wave background. In part 2 of my coloured wave tutorial I will show you how to change the colour of them. Also just for fun you can shake your wireless controller and watch the bubbles go crazy lol
