It all depends what can we get from the current SDK we have.

If we will be able to get bootldr/lv0 then we can say goodbye to problems as PS3 will be permanently open no matter what (at least current PS3s).

If we get "only" keys to sign things then we will probably be able to plays few more games on 3.55.

Sony removed OtherOS, so in my opinion, revenge is a dish best served cold :D

I paid for the console and i can (with some limits) do what i want, if they offer an option and then with no *logical* reason removes it. Personally i don't give a damn about them. Like so many other did too.

I don't give a **** about them, they *jump* only when their own personal interests are at risk. And then when they are cornered start to sue/point the finger/blame anyone.

I do understand Sony. It is a very big, job creating company. If big public are able to download back-ups, then many people will lose their jobs, because
Sony expected to make more money.

I can only agree. As a company they disgust. Compared to for instance Nintendo and Microsoft, Sony really have no manners or morale at all.

It's an odd world, when Microsoft suddenly is the good guy. But I guess things has turned that way - also outside the console scene.

And Nintendo.. No bad word can be said about them <3 Except that I haven't got a Wii...

But well, Sony really brought this upon themselves to a degree, where I really feel pissed on.

Hold on guys. It is still a long way for CFW. For Backups, we have to patch both, LV1 and LV2, it is harder now. Moreover, we have to add Peek&Poke. Don't expect CFW just soon. The best thing for start is to resign the eboots for 3.55. Then slowly proceed to CFW 4+. We dont want the Waninkoko to happen again. With 1000 of bricks..
