Maybe the anonymous PM'er zadow28 is talking about is KaKaRoTo?

Matbe KakaRoTo waited for the right moment and person to share his exploit with? He started a thread about what to do some short time ago...

Edit: never mind this comment, saw the post by @Pockets69 ...

Fake

I have checked this supposed MFW with custom firmware validator and I can confirm that the installation of this MFW is very risky and can damage you PS3 system. DO NOT INSTALL IT!!!!!!!

LOL, if CFV says that it's risky to install, it's only because it hasn't got it in it's database, but that doesn't mean that it's safe to install it without a hardware flasher...
EDIT: Nevermind, @Nicolas19 has overtaken me already.

As with all I am very optimistic, but still on the edge of expecting this to either be a hoax or just not work. Still hoping it works and we find the keys and get a new cfw, but also hoping if it is a joke then it get revealed quickly so we can all move on, yet again.

For those saying it doesnt work on slims, neither did waninkoko's and that resulted in hundreds if not thousands of noobs bricking their consoles. But his v2 was fixed to work with NOR consoles. It has only been a day, dont expect everything today, we just have to wait and see what happens; even devs need sleep.
