Ok, so just to get a little bit back on topic, let's break down what we have here (so far).

For a start, most fakers tend to just go nuts and either try to brick people's machines or get them updated beyond 3.55 so they can't do homebrew. Nodex made it quite clear to only try it if you have a flasher. So either he's somewhat genuine about whatever this is, or is trying to play the long troll game.

This is interesting because some people are having trouble getting it to work, while others are getting it installed no problem. This wouldn't be the first MFW that had trouble on certain consoles (Remember Waninkoko's bricked PS3s? Similar deal - bricked only older PHAT consoles with NAND), so it's not unheard of. More on this in a bit.

From what I can tell, this has yet to be proven. It seems the only success people are having is from installing from 3.55 or earlier. This is a shame because I don't believe anyone's managed to get a PUP to install from OFW 3.56 or later and would be a bit of a breakthrough.
As for the extra debug menus - yes, we have seen this before, but that brings me to the next point:

Nodex does specifically state that there's no homebrew and no peek/poke. So er...why are people getting so bent out of shape? There's obviously something to it as some people can get it to install, while others can't. The point is, Nodex set your expectations in his post and the only thing he promised that has yet to be proven is OFW 4.11 installation. He even specifically calls it an MFW, not a CFW. Everything else matches up. A big "if", maybe, but for now everyone should just calm down and stop arguing. See what Nodex comes up with next and for the love of God, keep your bloody hats on and pinches of salt at the ready.

Some of you are pathetic, No wonder dev's don't release stuff that much for the 'ps3 scene'
people are always saying negative things to dev's or whoever that release something If it isn't perfect, Nodex said the fw wasn't 100% ready and has some problems and know one should install it without E3 Flasher.

Give him and anyone else helping him some time, If this ends up being BS then so be it.

I think that is a NAND console. If it has 4 USB, cardreaders, and plays PS2 games then it is for sure (CECHE0*)

Antaeus i believe that updatinh from 4.11 OFW is false it just doesn't work even in recovery mode atleast for me i just downloaded it again and im gonna try doing it again *edit* nope even doing it the second time it wont let me update on my CHECHA01
