E3 Nor Cable Clip - best long term reinforcement solution?

How do I keep this ****in thing down on the chip for longer than 1 day?

-Used sticky tape (down HARD, DONT question me about this)
-Hard foam (yes it was hard foam NOT soft) on tape layer
(foam height is very high - 2.5" that I need to press MBoard down HAARD! while I screw back first few MBoard screws for re-assembly)

My reinforcement lasted long enough to reflash my bios immediately after I re-assembled the PS3.

Couple days later, attempt another backup and the clips ****in loose.

Whos got the best E3 clip long term reinforcement solution?

Epoxy is more permanent than soldering - you can desolder

Lol. Whatever you do don't use epoxy! If you glue it down and its not a good connection, you would be screwed.

If you have a model that has those little transistors in the way, you can shave a little plastic off the clip. But soldering would be the best solution. You can use the e3 linker to solder the points to. Then it plugs in onto the flasher.

Yes you can desolder E3 Linker you just have to be very carefull when doing so, you better get help if you want to do it. Also it gives a fail to read nor when ps3 starts up because PS3 is busy using it, wait 40 sec before you attempt to make a back-up, if it gives you the fail to initialise back-up - you have to open your PS3 again and allign your clip precisely and stick it hard
