yea you can jailbreak and play backup games
but only down fall is not the new ones that requires latest firmware

ok ill probably get trolled but... i heard about that nodex.pup on front page and the thread was closed sorry. i had to say i tried to install it on my retail 4.11.. well i thought it was going to work it told me all the info and and made me accept and then copied the update and then started checking it again and then said data corrupt.. I only post this because i thought it might be helpful maybe i hope so but it did not brick it or anything.. so sorry bout it being the wrong thread but i wanted more info on it if you could direct me to the right fourm or webpage? ty

Dont know how you know a new PS3 comes with 3.41 on it unless you buy one of the know bundles.

All new ps3 are the unhackable models and come with firmware above 3.6x

Also note that nodex's firmware is a mfw, not a new cfw. It does absolutely nothing to help you to hack your ps3. And as we've seen it does not work on some models.
