the spoofer will do one thing!!!!!will prevent you to update

Cause you humbled a bit, i might be able to help out, there is very little information on the psn side of things on the wiki etc...
yes psn packets may be 100% decrypted you are right. About the encryption method not being the same, nope its the same what changed is the XI pasphrase, the encryption is the same the passphrase is not. a man in the middle attack would somehow work at least to decrypt traffic. my advice to you is using services that sony doesn't really protect like that folding @hom e stuff or life with playstation or whatever it is called, servers were not updated or patched on stanford universtity, you might be able to successfull decrypt traffic to your ps3 from there, and then spoof a server on your pc that will feed info to your ps3 you might be able to spoof the packets etc to make it look like you are connected to psn. As for the login data in plaintext use wireshark to do it. no changing psn ip to the pc and redirect it to sony doesn't work, just like this. good luck with your app

About the plain text. Doesn't the PS3 encrypt it? Then we can't see it with Wireshark, because Whireshark logs packets. |

You do nothing with Wireshark it's only packet sniffer. But can be helpfully to cause 'passphrase packets' but decrypting is very hard step. If you have that u must got too some Cert's from 4.11 in your 3.55. Then u can use a simple web debugging proxy like Charles.
And change the strings: X-Platform-Passphrase: from decrypted packet (random code) X-Platform-Version: 4.11 Remember Sony can fast patch it on any time, they just change a passphrase and u will lose a work.

Thank you for your input Nodex.
I will write a packetlogger. It makes it easier for me because I've never used Whireshark. |
