Ive notice the app Near now pays attention to the System Music setting, so if you shut off system music in the settings app it shuts off the music in Near. You can also now update Near as often as you want. before you had to wait an hour i believe. Thats all i have found for now. anyone else have anything to add?

I'll help you out in any way I can. I loves my vita even though I'm, like most here, disappointed in Sony. Still, for the time being its still a great machine, it even does the custom soundtracks feature similar to the 360, a big PLUS for me.

Updating, I just hope the wifi connection isn't lost every time the vita goes into standby mode whilst in game now.

Liomajor i clicked your link and takes you no where, as for this update i have tried via wifi and also via pc and ps3 and tell me i am up to date on f/w 1.61 am in Scotland or should i say UK

is saying is they pulled the update.. wonder why? ive also been reading on wololo.net that the update DOES in fact patch the VHBL exploit. No word on if it blocks Davee's kernel exploit
