Hi,

i have recently ordered my E3 Flasher.
After going through some tut`s i have noticed that you also need a dongle in order to downgrade.
I have a few phones available for the downgrade, can you tell me which would be the best compatible phone for the downgrade.

I have these phones available:

samsung Galaxy Nexus
Samsung Galaxy S2
Iphone 3gs
Iphone 4s
Ipad 2
Sony Ericsson Arc

Can i use one of these phones? If i can use the apple products, do they need to be Jailbroken?

I just completed the downgrade with e3flasher using my iphone 2G, and yes it had to be jailbroken. If you want details let me know. Its actually really easy to do provided you don't have to spend HOURS on the internet figuring it out. If I give you the steps you should be able to use your phone for everything and save some money.

Just make sure its jailbroken with rednsn0w

He doesn't have a 2G

3GS definitely doesn't work in the same way, pretty sure iphone 4 and the ipad 2 wont do it either as openiboot isn't available past iphone 2G.

Best bet is one of the android phones there, but I don't have a clue about that.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

well after doing more research and i couldn`t find any info on my listed phones, i decidet to buy the AVR Minimus 32k for 20€.

Yeah looked at the same list myself... But i bought the AVR Minimus32K for 20$ of amazon

if i remember right , "psfreedom /psgroove " was for jailbreaking , and it was called "psgrade" for downgrading and for getting ps3 into service mode there the files u would want to look for " psgrade"

psfreedom = jailbreaking via phone etc
psgroove = jailbreak via avr board eg AT90USB162 etc
psgrade = downgrading/service mode via phones . avr boards etc

So in my case in order to use the E3 to Downgrade succesfully i need the
PSGrade for the AVR Minimus USB.

E3 Flasher -- Check
AVR Minimus -- Check (still need files)

am i missing anything for downgrading and were is the best source for psgrade for my AVR Minimus?
