As far as I can tell, the majority of anti-TB guys here... don't use any dongle at all. :P
But yeah, I think it's more likely to be a bluff from TB. People would have experienced problems already if this was implemented in 2.5 update.

TB comes nowhere near Cobra, and I STILL won't get it! Dumb tactics like this made me recently sell my cfw for an ofw and a bong.

My advice to you guys is, if you're using clones, always change your PS3 time to 1999 as example. It probably is based on that.

It also could be when the files were changed as last.
Just change the last changed timestamp via Windows trough the FTP.

Another option is, the timers timestamp is in the flash itse. Then you're not able to prevent that because it's encrypted. But I highly doubt they risk to brick a console for that.

The timer is not set on the dongle itself, because it decrypts the cfw.

you obviously dont know how the hacking scene work! maybe its different for the ps3 cause you guys are scumbags and want everything free. but these guy did put efforts into it and they risk lawsuits. so i agree with him! as for the so called scene. EVERY EXPLOITS for windows are sold before they get released to public and thats called 0day. you clearly dosent know the time and effort needed to make an exploit even if its based on other ppl work or discovery. theymade the work so they have the choice to release free or not, then YOU have the choice to buy it or not. as for the free exploits i only seen this on 'i' device and couple gaming console. a good exemple was the dreamcast booting games with that bootdisc first! the disc was sold at start ( and i was happy to buy that burned cdr instead of buying games full prices. AND not cause you get something free once mean the guy is forced to give it to you free for the rest of his life! geohot/waninoko and trueblue are 2 different thing one is a buisness and the other is kids having fun and sharing their work. just cause one give his work free dosent mean everyone have too thats why have opensources AND licences lol

i wonder what's gonna happen when somebody unlocks RSX and they sell the feature on a dongle for us to play complex emus on their cfw. i wouldn't be surprised if we had to pay to play n64 on our ps3 lmao
