I don't really care who made the firmware, but has anyone actually tried it? Is it safe to use? I don't have an E3 Flasher so I can't really take that much risk. I would just use the TB V2 CFW, but I heard PSN games won't work on it. So I want to use Rebug.

I have had the blue ray problem and at first I thought I was just out of luck but since then I have tested about 10 cfw's and reinstalled ofw a couple of times and magically my ps3 started to play them again when i went to ita fw but then went to rebug and not tb it still worked. I just installed rogero 3.1 tonight just tested and blu rays still plays. So try installing ofw then a trusted cfw again

I have a question for you ,if you ever come here to answer.You guys have MFW portable version on you site & privacy TLC patch & rebug.355.2 CFW .My question is it ok to run rebug.355.2 through MFW & select all privacy patch tasks ? I did it & it said successful ,but did not want to install yet. Just for hell of it i wanted to see what that new Custom Firmware Validator would say & it cam up as dangerous after patching privacy ?

Why would the guys put all Rebug CFWs in the database but not the rebug 355.2 privacy patched PUP ,so we who like to check the PUP after patching can match the hash can feel better about installing it ? I looked through the database & i seen true blue + others but no privacy patched Rebug .?

Now after seeing your post about running Rebug through MFW i am having doubts .I only get sha1 & MD5 hash + the crc check numbers ,i believe it is after checking.

The other hash checks are gone after doing the above i mentioned. Of course it would be since it was modified but , can you explain/elaborate running /patching with tools from rebug.me that this is fine. I just got a 3rd CFW PS3 & do not want to brick it.

Well as for "dangerous" coming up in CFW Validator, that is as you said. CFW validator doesn't clear it because the checksum doesnt match any published pup. You patched it with MFW builder on your own.

It is safe to run ReBug through MFW builder using their patches. Also, by practice, I have never used any ReBug patches with standard MFW. Just use the rebug tasks for MFW builder, patch in what you need patched in, and all should be ok.

There is a Rebug privacy patch, and the standard one. Use only the Rebug privacy patch

i have posted on ******* that he is retarded to release such thing, but they have deleted my post immediately. afterall everybody shud do it themselves, if they want a specific cfw with tb functionality.

he shud have left it to a ps3mfw task to replace lv1/lv2...but only my oppinion

please tell me if theres any way to revert back to 3.55 to this i totally messed up updating to this and I have a true blue that i just got that hasnt been updated or anything and i dont know what to do please help me someone!!!!!

If this firmware is based on 3.55.
You can just install the normal TB V2 over this.

so i updated through xmb and it says my system fw is 3.72 and my install packages is gone and i have activated my true blue yet..should i activate it and then will all my stuff work on this??? omg idk what to do i have to babies..one ofw 4.11 bc phat and one bc phat on cfw3.55 w/ a 750gb hdd w/ all my stuff now not working!!!

try to install a diffent 3.55 cfw , if u wont install then well my friend u have just installed 3.72 ofw and u have lost homebrew and backup mangers , u will need a hardware flasher .

my friend has a 3.55 cfw phat and if I install true blue cfw can he go back to kmeaw so i can activate my true blue so when i finally put it in for the 1st time maybe my stuff will show up???
