Like you said, eboot.bin is a file with more files in it.
It's like an exe with files packed. If I am not wrong, it contains ELF files.

I still don't know how the eboot.bin really works. So don't you, or else you would have done it wouldn't you?

I have a pretty good idea of what they did, and it doesn't involve hardly any of what you said. They're using dual-boot 4.11 and CFW, loading games on 4.11, pulling cell_reset and switching NANDs then dumping the memory which has the decrypted eboot in it. Everything else is obfuscation, DRM, and bull****. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. Still feel pretty good about giving these retards your hard-earned money?

Would we get somewhere? No. Telling me to do something that isn't be job is like someone telling me to find a cure for cancer. I need to study and reach levels of educational skills where I can accomplish the requested task. I for one know that there are hundreds above me, but if one always sold something which should be given for free, then what would happen? Imagine that doctors found a cure for cancer, and then they cured is for $60000. Would that save lives? No, it will be the same as it were before because something which should be given for free is being sold for a ridiculous price!

Instead of always sticking up for your so called "devs", how about you actually see what is behind the makings of a such a product.

An example, a big name, Geohot. He hacked the PS3, for fame and name AND money.
No, he didn't charge money for his exploit, but YES, he got publicity.
He was asked for tv shows, for jobs.


Because of Sony he can't work on the PS3 anymore.

If he really wanted to help the scene, he would have done it anonymous.
It's all about name, fame, money.

There are just a few hackers that is doing it for their own learning process.
