I read pro Hacks thread for unbricking the problem is i cant flash my 4.0 ofw backup cause when i try put the file in sd etc. hit start gives me error 11000010 PS3 is operating NOR, E3 Flasher cannot operate at the same time, same if i leave all the switches down 00000000 and hit start.Any suggestions..?

You shouldn't get that error, if you have the wire soldered from sbe point on the flasher ribbon and pao tristate point on ps3 motherboard.

The pro.hack is even banned from the ps3devwiki, his modified backup is from a non-downgradeable ps3 (the ps3 that comes with 3.60+)
So this ends in a non recoverable brick.

If you read the guide, it is not the one with his modified dump.

go head and reflash any backup bios most likely gonna be the 3.73 dump you did in the beginning. If so flash it in. After the 8led flashes and it done, DO NOT TURN OFF PS3. Push switch 1-5 down and 6 up and push the reset button on the e3 flasher. Then take the sd card from the TF and plug it in your comp and keep your 3.73 backup bios in the card withe your downgrade.bin.

I know the guide you are talking about, and it has been closed. This guide is Pro.hack's, but it says nothing about using his modified dump.
You have to use YOUR error free backup.

Thnx i ll try to reopen and check if everything is ok...i read in other posts that if you get the standby blue leds loop when you have the switch 1 up (reflashing mode)the connection on tristate and sbe its ok...is it true?

I tried to downgrade my ps3 with e3 flasher and everything was ok but after step when I put all switches down (restore process) I had a black screen and there was nothing I could do.
My backup file is OK, so I used E3 repair method if console bricked. I soldered everything like I should and copied backup file to microsd card. I put first swich into flash fun, pluged ac and turned on my ps3 and I pressed START.
After few seconds error showed up. e3flasher log says:
start logging...
program PS3 BIOS.
program from TF.
start programming.
read 0:bkpps3.bin at 0x00000000 ... OK.
erase PS3 BIOS at 0x00000000 ... OK.
write PS3 BIOS at 0x00000000 ... OK.
read 0:bkpps3.bin at 0x00008000 ... OK.
write PS3 BIOS at 0x00008000 ... failed.
Program Nor failed.

Is there anything I can do ? Pls help

Are you sure your backup is good?

If you upload it here, I will check it for you.

I checked with E3 Nor dump checker and it says OK.

It was my friend's console, I downgraded mine without any problems using only video from e3 website

Your backup looks good.

Maybe try the method to downgrade in my guide below. You do not have to do the restore process or use flash fun mode.

I have downgraded over 20 ps3s with this method.

Since you already have a backup start at Chapter 2 Part 1.

And if you only want to go to Rogero v3.1, then only do that step.
