Predict the next PPH (premium ps3 hack)

Lets take a break from all of the name calling and nonsense.

What other PS3 functionality could the secret PS3 illuminati possibly try and get users to pay for?

Probably a DRM firmware that can run all homebrew and games up to that firmware version(ie. 4.11), but which can only be installed via a modchip/dongle/whatever and which needs it present also.

not intentionally.

merely wondering if anyone else is pondering the capabilities of the ps3 that are being held back from us.

i mean....at first, everybody went crazy for ps3 "backups" but didn't care about backwards compatability. result? When cobra came out, people qq

people wanted PSN back for varying reasons (some wanted to use hacks in online games, others took it further and compromised PSN) the result? Sony responds and now we have TB

going by this 'scene' track record, i wouldn't be surprised if RSX gets hacked enough to run better emus, we won't be able to use it without a special cfw and a dongle that unlocks...w/e for our stuff to work.

No one used a hacked ps3 to "compromised PSN" sony did not respond they panicted and released a flawed firmware and then a bunch of ps3s bricked, TB is a result of a dedicated team of ps3 devs that wanted money, not from sony at all.

panicking is a response.

TB is the result of that response, allowing ps3 users to play newer games. Whether or not a hacked ps3 was used (i assume many were used to get on the dev network and get free games or w/e), ps3s with cfw were capable of getting online.
