If they want to add security measures into their software it is there own choice. JB-kink can prevent this by creating their own CFW and dongle update.

Proof or no proof, the point here is the malicious intentions behind the malware embedded within TB dongles. It would be one thing to warn users when a clone device is detected, stating that using the device will result in data loss or better yet, simply not allowing it to run. Obviously they can detect it, so why go the drastic route of wiping data without the consent of the end user when they could simply place measures to not allow games to boot if a device other than TB is detected?

It is more than obvious that they chose the malicious route on their own behalf, rather than the less-corrupt alternative. This is how they think and do business (their own code or not), and yet you support them...

Since we are talking about malware, this is no different than rogue malware applications that remove malware from your pc, but at the same time can detect and infect a user's machine rendering it useless if they install a competitor's product.

If you cannot see the faults in this concept, then you sir need to wake the f*ck up.

By threatening people of EARSING THEIR DATA? Use THEIR SOFTWARE by using OPEN SOURCE programs (to build cfw, sign eboots)? It's like microsoft saying if you pirate your windows your HDD get's wiped. Randomly, no warning, no SIGN of it being detected, would that be fair too? No. Oh, and add that there would be no other thing than windows, since they monopolized computer scene, and that they built windows from tools and things discovered by other people. Would that be in your way of thinking good and fair?

To all those people kissing up to TB, and say they should be compensated for their hard work. Remember the original devs like flukes, wanin, kmeaw, rebug and more who supported and created CFW and other apps without asking a penny. Additionally, there is fail and others who spent years (yes, it was not just suddenly) cracking the PS3 to find weakspots - again, not asking anything. Without those people, TB wouldnt exist.

idk if you picked up on my sarcasm or not...i think maybe i should have put it all in italics. if anyone really does agree with the statement i made, you have some serious problems.
oh, and you should wish pain upon people, not death. pain can cause years of suffering whereas once someone is dead, that's it. i'd rather die than wake up with pain throughout my body and every time i get it up it hurts cause a catheter tore the inside of my urethra. death would be a whole lot better than that scenario. anyways, i digress.
