But until then, live your life, enjoy it, have fun, have a family and dont bother yourself with such silly questions
you can do all these things and still worry about silly questions before you get old

1- Why would you need an afterlife, when this life so beautiful? If you can understand D.N.A. then you would never need something childish like an afterlife.

When one is dying, the only part of the brain functioning is in the core or the primitive part of your brain. Hence, you seeing "the light" because the upper part of the brain isn't processing anything, happens when the visual portions of your cortex are being stimulated but there's no processing going on to interpret what you're seeing.

2- I think this only works on LeBron James.

Religion and Gods are 2 VERY different things. I have no problem believing there are beings more powerful than we are, and that they have been given the label of 'God' etc, but that does not mean in Any way that they were not created by the same processes as I was.......... Nature and evolution
You know the reason why I follow my specific religion? Because it made me believe by science. I will not mention my religion for reasons in which people might think different of me, but I will say that my religion convinced me with Scientific statements about the Universe, our Earth, and us. A Holy Book in which not a single word has been changed, says that the Universe was once compact into a small atom, will make me believe. Why? Because Science also says so. A Holy Book in which not a single word has been changed, says that the Earth is in a shape of a egg, and not completely wrong, will make me believe. Why? Because Science also says so.

The point here is that the Holy Book is not to look as a science textbook, but as a book for guidance. Science will stay as a subject, and will always be a subject. No one can change that. Atheists I know who say "Believe in God or Science, because you can't believe in Science because religion says so". These Atheists are ignorant, and just want to put people down, and that is what drives me from respecting Atheists. Just like people get misconceptions of religon, we religious people get misconceptions of Atheism and Science.
