This was hardly an N64 emulator, more a mario 64 minus sound and it was the only game worth a try on it.

which emu is it? i used to own a psp a while back (i think before pspgo).
a while back, i remember strmnnrmn was making an emu and it was pretty great. the sound was just starting to work last time i actually used it and a lil while back i saw other people picked up on his work. i think it was daedalus+ or something along those lines. it looked like a pretty good emulator.
i wish it could get ported to the ps3...someday

It may have sucked, but at least someone is trying to port over as much homebrew as possible on the vita. It may be worthless to you, but for others it isn't. Some people appreciate everything they can get, even if said homebrew does have a few issues. Also the last build of daedalus was a huge improvement over the prior builds. The ps3 doesnt even have a N64 emu. Nobody ever said you were forced to use it.

First things first, the emulator has been floating around for years, at it's limit for years, this is not a ball bash on the developer or the guy that ported it, its the truth, psp didn't have the specs to get this any where close to playable (bar the odd game) and stands more as a proof of concept.

That's not to say the dev didn't slug it out with this thing I'm not bashing the effort, As far as emulators on psp go this is just about the worst but if you wish to try it by all means do.

For the record it's all about opinions, don't forget we are entitled to one. (;

Of course not, I'm aware you guys don't like to see negativity around here because it drives the contributors away, on this occasion my comment may have seemed harsh and for that I apologise, please keep the emulators coming but let's try to avoid porting the slow ones eh?
