If you use the 10.28 Samsung update.bin, to update your flasher before each ps3 you downgrade, you can downgrade as many ps3s as you wish.

looks like it works alright, my bad there.
i was in the understanding if those new models brick its perm-bricked
with a good dump 3.70 u fixed it.

now u should have asked yourself...hmm wassup? ... i know its easy for someone else to say and also bricked his first one hehe

updating the OFW to 4.00 wasn't required but no problem ofcourse

then it goes wrong somewhere but i have no clue really... i'm sure someone have a fix for this.

Hey guys! I've been following these guides for days trying to figure out what to do and I've tried everything but seem to be stuck. It seems that the info on the scene is very scattered so I was hoping if you guys could answer some questions and so I'm writing my first post.

I have a PS3 Slim CECH-2503B (320GB). I also have an e3 flasher. I just bought a random ps3 as the clever people say on the e3 website, it works on all slims but it doesnt mean that it will downgrade them! So I'm basically stuck at the part where I have to use e3_downgrade.bin. Different updates give me different results. The latest update with the fast dualboot (even though I haven't set up dual booting) restarts in the XMB after the downgrade.bin file is used. The 2011-11-22 and the samsung update both turn off the ps3 within 3 seconds with no LEDs on. I've also tried many many patches but none seem to come up with the "push the PS button" screen and i end up with a bricked playstation almost every time.

When I checked my minimum version it was 3.56 but I'm sure I read somewhere that my ps3 is definitely downgradable to up to 3.50 even if minimum version is 3.56. Also when checking the model page on ps3devwiki here the #2 note is basically what happens to me and I have datecode 1A and it seems I have the "other new metldr" and whoever wrote the guide says they are downgradable. Does anyone happen to know what downgrade.bin file he is talking about that has now been fixed for console CECH2503B (JTP-001) and he also says that the CECH250.B (JSD-001) was also downgraded to 3.55. Thank you!

Ps I'm not sure if I have the JTP or JSD motherboard! Any easy way I can check?

many ways to achieve the same goal it is

have my problem fixed, i couldn't get the solderless-flashfun working tho.
maibe my fault, perhaps hit START faster(green leds) or wait for all leds(+blue)? then it gave the "cannot found correct HDD"

me ended up using the Normal_E3_downgrade_Process
(+samsung update - no restore - bkpps3.bin+e3_downgrade.bin/logfile)

the wiki prefers you to use the "normal E3 downgrade" first if it fails aka boots back into XMB use the "manual patch way" all 6 switches down.
there its excactly the same as this guide(same patches) be it that if "not bricked" flip all 6 switches down.

after downgrade, and dumping the 3.55 bios again, if one verify his dump, the ros1 folder is always? empy, atleast on my end
fix is reinstalling the same CFW in recovery mode(jhax78 told me

Guys.. Some questions I have... please help me out...

1. My E3 flasher has been used once. So after i take backup on second ps3 using samsung update, can i use the original method to downgrade or i have to follow flash fun method?

2. Whenever I try to patch my dump in the PS3 NOR Patcher, it crashes. What should i do?

3. Can u check if my dump is alright? If it is, can u patch it for me?
