Crap trueblue just erased my will not to post about trolls. I do not feel sorry for the people that hdd get erased by trueblue cfw. Why? It is quite simple, they have those dongles with the main purpose of pirating. If they really wanted to play new games, they would upgrade to the newest firmware or get a e3 flasher to downgrade back for homebrews. So if you are scared of trublue erasing your stuff, stop supporting it and the dongles that are clones of them.

I have made my feelings on TB as a 'company' well known, but get serious pleeeeeeeeeeease.

Why would 'most' people spend 3 to 4 times the amount of money on a flasher and all the other bits (which is KNOWN not to be fool-proof) when they can get a dongle that gives them almost the same thing?

People seem to miss the point that PSN and being online obviously is NOT a big thing for the ones who use the dongles so your point is mute.

Not having a go at you btw, but this argument has been used again and again and again and it makes no actual sense lol

But i will side with you @TheBuzzer , i also feel zero sympathy for the owners of TB, they were warned that the device creators are scum, but they still bought it anyway, the age old saying, you reap what you sew, stands firm here, i think....

Why would people not use offical firmware than paying for a chip that can play some newer games. I am a pirate too, I know if I was to get trueblue it is just to play newer games. You do not need it for homebrew at all. However, I am not a console gamer. I am a pc gamer. I just get consoles to mod and collect the games. I have wii, ps3, and recently an xbox360.

If e3 flasher is too expensive or hard they can get another ps3, One for homebrew use and the other to play games.

There is no valid reason to get trueblue other than pirating. If you dont have money to spend on another ps3, than stop playing games and earn some money. Simple as that.

what about some people waiting for a cfw, not wanting to update?
sure those will be a minority but it is still a valid reason. some have not updated due to the new tos that denies you any rights if you accept. being forced to give up your rights as a consumer in order to play a new game is a dick move

i updated in the end but for the ps3 i still bought games.

your view says that even without tb and using cfw that all people use it for is pirating. this is not true

Trust me, after working for 25 Years solid then being unemployed for 2 years, and only recently having money again, life is not so straight forward or simple.

As to validity, there was even less reason to get the original JB device except for Piracy but no-one seemed to care.

That is the point I am making here, and as @GregoryRasputin said, everyone pirates so why make it out as if the ones who use TB are bigger pirates than the ones who don't?

I know for a Fact that if I needed a dongle to play later games and still keep my homebrew I would get one and almost everyone else would. It's the DRM that stops me and most people (again as long as PSN is not a big thing for you).

No-one can say whether or not a TB user or anyone else has purchased the game, so Yes, your point of Piracy and TB is mute as it covers ALL methods of JB'ing the PS3
