hi all i was just wondering i had my e3 set up on a ps3 for dual boot now i dont have that ps3 anymore but i still have the e3 flasher can i use it on a different ps3 and if so would it be possible to down grade and remove the e3 when done ?

Yes, you can use it on one console. Remove it, and use it again. (In another) it's a pain in the eyes maybe the process to mount etc. But you can use it again.

I have used the same e3 flasher to downgrade about 15 ps3s.

I'm not sure about dual boot on another ps3 though. Because to use on another ps3, you have to update the flasher with the 10.28 Samsung update.bin. and that update, I don't think supports dual boot.

But there may be a way. Just not sure how.

do i have to follow TDCroPower2 tut to downgrade or can i just update the flasher with the 10.28 update than downgrade the usual way and when done remove the flasher and put the hard drive back in ???

Yeah just do it like in my guide below. If you only want to go to Rogero v3.1 stop after Chapter 2 Part 1.

right problem im having is where it was set to fast dual boot on another ps3 when i tried to use it on another ps3 today it wont let me update the blue lights dont come on but the rest do i was thinking is there away to reset it because for the fast dual boot i had to flash the e3 nor as well so im sure it still thinks its in the other ps3 any idea's ????????? any are welcome

If you don't get any blue leds, the clip is installed wrong.

i do when change the switches but not when i put them to update also the ps3 dosent come up on the screen but is on??

Something isn't right. The ps3 should boot to the xmb like without the flasher installed.

Do you have the hdd in esata station and powered on?
