im only looking to no how he done it because it would help lots of people up if he released his method it would just enable piracy thats all but i was looking to find out how to do this for ages

A few things to clear out since people keep on repeating it.

Yes, he did fool the installation process by installing a dummy package - BUT HE DIDNT SIGN THE DUMMY PACKAGE. It couldnt run. On execution the package signature is important else it just dont execute.

All he did was fooling the PS3 to validate the install to the real file on PSN, then the proxy kicks in and he download and install a package - which is still not properly signed. Since the validation was already done on the PSN one, it just installed. But it will NEVER run - so stop referring to that as a valid example.

On the 4.11 lv2 keys - testing them will yield no significant value. Please see the bootorder and where this key is actually used on the dev wiki. More importantly, see the difference between 3.55 and 3.60+. These (lv2) are not hardware encoded, and can actually be changed by sony updates. Also, we already have lv2 patchers available from rebug that allows lv2 to be patched with other custom loaders - and even have emulators to memory patch a CEX to become a semi DEX. See the full package at rebugs webite.

Unless he give lv0 keys, its not even worth testing.

do the same very thing ONLY change his FAKE PKG to any other pkg online HOMEBREW of course and it won't install it wont even swap it will FAiL straight away with a error code

not even go to 1% downloaded
if its homebrew it will always fail he some how managed to get around this

i used a different method from the one he said and it install no problem just like a RETAiL PKG from sony its the ONLY PKG online the was "homebrew" and install ? no other homebrew out there will install only SONY PKG and his FAKE PKG ? out of every PKG going (emulators multiman etc, etc NOTHiNG even downloads on OFW everything FAiLS expect sony pkg and his)

Having read the rest of your post, it seems odder since you might be able to install it as well, it minimizes the chances of a spoofed firmware. Haven't looked at it, neither have I had the time, if I get it, it could be fun to give a quick glance... I doubt he has accomplished/done anything noteworthy of praise
