You might be able to stand by and say "well, it's their own fault if they do", but is it really? Not everyone has the time to learn this stuff and make informed decisions and any upstanding individual should be trying to help others. You're right on one thing, though, I've said what I felt I needed to to help others and can leave the thread and move on. Thanks for your time, see you guys in about a month  ps. bad mouthing and discrediting takes much less time and effort than hacking. Not that I'm badmouthing so much as discrediting. |

OK, thinking outside of the box for a sec.
I did a bit of searching for keld simonsen and his name pops up a few times in regards to ps3 distros, and kernels, mainly fedora, so as we do not know for sure how they obtain the eboots and somehow booting to Linux and dumping the ram has been suggested, could certain references from ram be still in these eboots if this method is actually true? Again, I have no problem admitting I know sweet **** all about this type of thing so call me dumb all you want

I did a Google search on debugging spu and seen ProDg for ps3 was leaked back in 2010, is there something wrong with it (other than possible legal issues)? Pardon what many be a dumb question, as I know jack $hit about debugging.
