I don't get this scene. I sometimes may come across as a little blunt, yes that's true. I simply pointed out that I was in belief that he was deliberately misleading people and I backed up my claim of why I thought that was so and provided information on how people can verify said claim, I don't ask that people trust me because I don't care and I am not a final authority on the matter by any means. I did not intend on offending anyone.

Is this "scene" really at the point where people can't take criticism, and why does everyone always end up arguing semantics, its the same damn argument every single time and it grew old long ago.

I am not a developer, Hardware is my game and I have never stated otherwise. I have however, taken it upon myself to be well informed of all of the inner workings of the PS3 and have what I believe a well above average understanding of the mechanics of how it works.

As with nodex's thread I immediately spotted the faked "evidence" provided by the developer and pointed it out, you don't have to like it, you don't have to agree with it, I don't care either way. I only intended to provide information so people can make up their own damn minds.

In the end, I no longer feel welcome in these forums. I will return to the IRC and the Wiki where I am more welcome.

This thread is so f*cking ass backwards it is not even funny. To those calling out the OP, why waste your time? We have all seen this so many times before. If people want to fall victim to a troll, so be it.

To the OP... I really don't know what to say other than, you should have done your work, got some results, and posted WORKING examples of sh*t. If you got stuck, you then could have opened a thread containing enough detail of your work to gain assistance from those willing to help.

This thread was doomed to fail from the start, because trolls will be trolls. You claim you don't want fame, credit, or whatever... then you should have worked behind the scene, and released with some results. If it all lead nowhere, then nobody would have ever known otherwise.

Whatever comments pissed you off, you brought on yourself. Remember, this is the ps3 scene; or did we all forget? As a suggestion, next time it may be wise to post AFTER you have completed something, rather than updating a thread (or 2 in this case) like it is a damn diary. I don't mean to discourage you, keep doing your thing, but in my opinion (due to the nature of this scene) you should keep it all hush until you have some solid results or need assistance with things.

Feel free to gang rape me now hax members, but 50+ pages of this sh*t was just too much. Most of the useful info could have easily been summed up on the first page ( @zadow28 's claim, @defyboy & @euss 's callout), everything else that was gobbled up by the page 2 monster is next to useless...

Why would Sony answer a prayer such as this when they can clearly see that the ps3 scene is full of incompetents willing to buy into everything they see, read, hear? The mass of this scene is a marketing team's wet dream.
