BD 3D movie >> cfw ps3 >> 3d blueray player ???

hi there,

i have a 3d blueray movie disc, i know i can create an iso for it via multiman, but my question is:
- i dont know what is decryption thats needed to be done for it with the PC and how its done.
- also even after i done everything needed for the iso, can it be run via a 3d blueray player (more specific, i have a sony 3d blueray player).

if this method doesnt work, is there any other method to reach my goal?

thanks for help in advance.

What Sony 3d player do you have ?

Most now will accept ntfs on a usb external my Sony S480 does. Extract your iso to its origional folders, bdmv etc. place a new folder on the drive called AVCHD and place all the folders extracted from iso into it. plug usb into sony Bd 3d player and you are good to go (AVCHD) needs to be on the root of the external

If you want to store more than one AVCHD folder on your external (which you cant) take a look here http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=143920

In theory yes, I have not tried as buying blank Bd50's kind of defeats the object (cost wise) and I would hate to try and get a coaster.

There are some 3D bluray players that accept the ISO format from external (google) also most 3d media players accept ISO I believe.

If you have a high spec laptop (with 3d graphics card) with hdmi out you could also mount the iso and play it with Powerdvd or similar directly to your 3d Tv.

You can do the ripping of the BD on your Pc with this http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvdhd.html

ok sir, i did create an iso image on my FAT-500GB external in BDISO folder (i enabled direct disc read in multiman and then created the iso), the folder size is 44GB and only a picture inside it, nothing else, so i thought its maybe dycrypted, (i tried magiciso to extract it, but it doesnt detect anything when i point it to the BDISO folder on my external), i installed anydd hd program to try to undycrpte the iso but it doesnt detect anything, actually i cant choose a directory from it so i would direct it to the bdiso folder, lol.

You cant store anything larger than 4gb in FAT, to store 44gb you would need to convert 2 NTFS. I know multiman has NTFS drivers but im not sure you can actually use it that way to watch BD.

The way I was explaining to you in above posts it for viewing on your Sony HD BD player not in PS3

@mofa

This may be of some help to you its made by Deank the same guy who made multiman http://multiavchd.deanbg.com/

You can re-author a HDMV authored blu-ray disc to be played in your Playstation 3 with an external USB HDD in few minutes. Just drag BDMV folder to multiAVCHD and select START - PLAYSTATION 3.
* You can also remove audio tracks and add your own (external) tracks to keep final size smaller or re-encode
existing HD audio tracks to much smaller (but quality) AC3 audio tracks. 20GB bluray disk movie takes about 10-20 minutes
to be transferred to an AVCHD compatible folder, playable in any BD (BluRay Disk Player) or Playstation 3.

i know, i didnt aim to view it on my ps3, my point was that i made an iso for the 3d moie on my external harddisk, i opened the folder containing the iso (which is named DBISO) with my pc, but there is nothing in the 44gb sized folder except a picture, both magiciso and anydvd hd programmes couldnt detect anything in the folder.

my question is how can i handle this folder? how can i find the .iso file and extract it?

iam confused, why there is nothing in the 44gb sized folder except an image, its cos the iso image that was made is encrypted? (if its why ANYDVD HD didnt detect it).
or maybe the creating of the iso was wrong in someway?

anyways iam creating the iso again with my ps3

i use multiman to create it, i enable "direct disc access" using the traingle button in the settings menu of multiman, then i go to the 3d movie and choose "create iso" and the destination to my external.

my external harddisk is formated in fat, not ntfs.

It needs to be fomated in NTFS for the iso @44gb and your PS3 wont recognise NTFS

you will NOT get a 44gb iso onto FAT

have you not got a bluray player on your PC to make the iso with Anydvd ??

ok, i just thougth i would, since multiman didnt give a worning about ntfs and fat (iam used to it being specific, so i thought it hs away of storing iso into fat, just like games backups, splitting it into 4gb chunks)

anyways thanks for urhelp, i will get an ntfs formated drive and try.
