We can install packages, but we can't run them yet. But don't waste your time, this is complete bs. If his friend had the keys (which must likely gets leeched from Sony) then he would post it his self.

you could install the pkg with 3.55, update to 4.11 and test and then downgrade when/if it didnt work as long as you had a flasher

i cant say that these keys are fake or so..but if u read kakarato's blog.. he wrote down that new private keys are generated every time when a ps3 signs a package..

I'm not an expert here. I'm mostly playing by ear (by reading ps3devwiki a lot). The keys he posted are 256 bit long. The keys that are 256 long in the PS3 are the AES 256 CBC keys that encrypt the metadata of the self (which in turn contains the keys to further decrypt the self).

So, in order to test a key you would need the lv0.self and try to decrypt the metadata of the header using the provided key. If you end up with a readable metadata, then you succeded. If you end up with a bunch of meaningless bytes, then you failed.
