How to reset user to 00000001 ??

if I go to hdd0/home my account is at 00000933 and I would like to change it back to 00000001. I have tried full format, system restore and even making new user 00000001 folder and editing the localusername and replacing it.

if you look inside you see this
community
dlc
etc
http
savedata
localusername
netshare.bx

When I make this fake user I get no user in my xmb so how can I change this to my account?

Thanks but I'm not trying to edit game saves I want to change the account number on my system to make it the first user on the PS3 00000001. Every time a user is created or if you data transfer it ups the number by 1 for every account lol I am up to 00000930. Is there a way to reset back to 00000001 as if I was the first one ever to make a account on my system.

If you have a sata to usb adapter .Connect to a pc & use EASEUS Partition Master delete the entire hard drive ,reformat to fat 32 & insert back in to ps3 & it will start the process .Make sure before you do any of this to be on ofw 355 from start to sticking the hard drive back in .

I wipe my hard drive with a pc & it gets 100% deleted . If you do not have a universal adapter ,try using a laptop if you have a sata connection & load up windows disc in drive when it gets to the install windows ,etc choose delete / format .Should do it also..

Yeah, that works, but that was the hard way. Hellsing's second link would've answered your question. You have to change the user's folder on the HDD and change the xregistry.sys. Reboot the system and everything's changed.

take out your HDD and format it with your pc using Sata to USB converter. you can either format it to Fat32 or NTFS but don't quick format. i formatted my hdd to ntfs and reinstall back kmeaw and i'm back to user 00000001 again.
