I have an original xbox that is good as new and barely touched. Anyone have a tutorial how to hack? Is it an easy job?

Found this old guide, with almost all links broken but a google search for the required software can help.

You may also need a xbox-usb adapter, or soldering a female usb on the gameport . The color pattern matches, you can just ignore the yellow wire and solder the other four (picture here).

hope it helps

Thanks Lobo. I noticed it needs a usb soldering? Isn't there a softmod only? Or did I read that wrong?

Sorry for the delay. You need a way to connect a flash drive with the required software into your xbox, but you dont necessarily need to open your console and do soldering. You can use the gamepad cable or an xbox-to-usb adapter.

You can chop off the end of a spare xbox 1 controller and attach a spare usb end to it. (not solder) but you'll also need a copy of splinter cell 1 (not the classic version) and an xbox memory card. Then your all set.

Then all you need to do is find a way to get the save on your xbox mem card. (i did it with the xbox Action Replay app IIRC)
