first to say hello to everyone, i'm new here!
i have a ps3 on 4.00 and i'm going to buy a e3 flasher to downgrade it, buuuuuuuut i saw on some video tutorial that i need a jailbreak/downgrade usb stick. that was a little bit confusing because when you wanna buy e3 flasher you don't get this kind of usb stick with it. so, my question is: can i downgrade without that stick, or you must have one? maybe some alternative way? i found that i can jailbreak a ps3 with android device, and the procedure is the same as with that kind of usb stick: connect it with ps3, turn on ps3 and press eject key, wait to finish and ps3 will turn off.

A jailbreak dongle is mandutory,meaning that u need one in conjunction wit the e3-flasher.

ok, thanks for clarification. but is it possible to use an android device for that purpose or original any jailbreak dongle is a must?

U could use any jailbreak dongle as long as u have the hex files,but i fine e3-reader easier to use and u can use an iphone or psp as a jailbreak device aswell.
