This would be a good move for Sony, letting the public develop games and test them on retail units, I'm actually considering getting one now. That is unless they decide to remove it, like linux on the PS3

They know how many people hack their consoles and are hoping that by allowing this many will buy one for home brew. As soon as sales spike, I'm sure a new update will appear that blocks it again except for registered users. That's my take on it anyway |
