@landon I made a slight mistake on the translation.

*As you know in PS3SX some shaders and filter are missing* (this one is bad)
It's the contrary.
*As you know in PS3SX some shaders and filters are working* (this one is good)

Do a lot of reading on this FW before installing it. You have been warned
That is what i was going to say multiman plays ps1 games you dont need this cfw and by the looks of it you REALLY dont need this cfw if you cant upgrade or downgrade.

Yes multiman can play ps1 games from cds but its FREE this announcment means moot, as the chance this will every be ported to 3.55 is a trilion to one everyone on the ps3 scene is too lazy to care so you be waiting a very long time if ever, unless you want to pay that is.

Exactly, as far as I know Multiman can load burned CD's. The latests versions have the option but it's only available when you use the Cobra Dongle

ok, what you wrote was a little misleading, since, an ISO is not an CD an vise versa. but one could call it the same thing :D oh damn you, almost got my hopes up a little there! hehe.

then there's nothing to do but sit back and wait for this to be available on kmeaw then i guess. ah, i dont mind, all in good time i guess. still dont like these demonhades people tho...

Wrong if you think you need cobra . "PS1" AKA->"PsX" ,Works on "Mostly all CFW 355" with multiMAN !

Don't forget about the emulator called -> (ONE) It can also play Ps1 games ,don't need to be a proper rip either. It can burned to CD-R as a data disc & should work fine enulated.

To burn Ps1 to CD-R rip to this (PROPER RIP)=> [MODE1/2048] Burn to CD-R -> load/launch-> with multiMAN . Profit ,no need for this CFW 356MA
======================================================
I am glad they are working on it .I hope there will be a way to get out of the CFW 356MA .That is most important for a CFW . Without a way out upgrade / downgrade .It will never receive the attention ,or respect do to this big issue. CFW 355 has everything you need & you can swap CFW in a instant . This is why CFW356"MA" will never reach 100% respect it deserves !

If people knew there was a way to get this off if thy wanted to ,then people would not slam this "CFW MA" am much .I dont think most devs would want to install a CFW like this on there PS3 ,knowing this problem ! So it will be very rare anyone will help . Sorry Blackdeath but this is the truth

==========================================================
@vaalir You only need CFW 355 & what i posted above for PS1/PsX Games . No ISO ,so what we can still play them .At least we can change CFW when we like/want to .

the jfw-dh was a complete joke! It wasnt even the official release they were expecting to do, it was a year old fw they had lying around!

Add that you will then have trouble removing it if you wanted to go to ofw or install a different cfw, and it this fw became completely useless!

I will not be installing jfw-dh just to play PS2 games, DH and his team should just give up with their fw as it causes more problems than it fixes and just try modifying and adding to the current cfws.

Well done, but this sounds more like they are polishing a turd to me.

Well in the translations or what i see in spanish, yeah they are poilishing some unfinished job.
And in some kinda way calling other devs to join their cause or proyect.

But it's ok at least their are doing something on their own.

"PS1" is not aka "PsX". If we want be precise, it's PSX (from codename: PlayStation X, not mislead with PSX - the DESR-xxxxx PS2 model series). ;]

Anyway... Proper way to burn PSX games is Mode2/2352 (burner must support RAW-DAO96) as RAW-DAO, one and closed session.

Also i'm disagree that we don't need Cobra dongle. Of course we don't if someone will know how they doing it and implement it i.e as a task in MFW. Until then... Don't you see a difference between used media? Much handy, speedy, ODD safely is playing from HDD/USB. In this times you even cannot buy a good quality CDs because no one produce it (only cheap crap, anyone other than me checking C1/C2 errors?).

Nevermind. Everone talking about some not important things. The core of this news is dynamic recompilation. Key feature.
