yeah lets talk about this , and the way he's using the old pcsx port to run them, maybe v1 for 3.41 with the fps display hexed out??? like i did.. also anyone got a download link?

I know what it is & i am still right .PS1= PSX , can be still played on 355 any CFW. I am 39yrs old not born yesterday. What i said is still proper /True.I don't know about your problem with DISC ? But i have no problems with burning my ps1 to CD-R. Maybe you should buy ,or spend a little more money for good CD-R then .They play perfect for me on rebug 355.2 & multiman. Ps1/PSX Burned to CD-R = FLAWLESS . No problems here !

PlayStation X - PSX = PS1 . PS2 = Playstation X= Same crap .

I will not be posting again or argue about this . I am to old for who is righ & a correction of what i already know. I know what PS1/PSX is . It's the original term used for the first Sony Playstation aka PS1 = http://dictionary.babylon.com/psx/

Regardless Playstation X , it is still PS1 & PS2 .So PlayStation X ,is still supports PSX ,so no need to correct me ,as we have a Emulator that is also PSX & it emulates PS1 games ,on PC . etc,etc,etc,

and facts straight. a PSX is not a PS1, nor a PS2, a PSX is a PSX.

it may be a coined term by the gaming community, but it is what it is. dont debunk solid facts by saying your too old for it and you know better when you are indeed wrong. if you would be old enough, you would have appreciated the correct information

SO want a PSX btw..

how many think that DH will actually release what they say, when they have said they will? i don't..

dynamic recompilation? if people know this to be a key feature, why hasn't this been developed earlier for i.e kmeaw? is it simply down to lack of willing developers?
but as i understood, this dynamic recompilation opens up more emulator possibilites? the more retro systems i can have in my ps3 the better. my own personal osS (old school system)

also, would shaders be a possibilty with this? scanlines <3

Hi, first is not that V1 Emu (Pre-release), this is the last beta from anonymous source code time ago, and not hexed out anything, i'm just working in that from some time ago and have working the Dynamic recompilation on 3.56 MA and make work the Dynarec of PS3SX by patches (Obviusly never work on 3.5+ because rwx on lv2) so the emulator work with shaders and some filtering in Pe OPS (Software) soon i will add other good things.

Like you can see in the menu configuration is not a v1 pre-release again.

Second in 3.55 or any other cfw there is no free way to run isos like PS3SX without cobra dongle and i want to work in this emulator because is better to have an emulator that we can modify and add more stuff.

Thanks BlackDeath_DH, but what about the free Cobra payload project ??!! we're at more than 8 months & we didn't see this with the JFW ??
Is Jaicrab still working on this or not ?

PS2 emulation for the retro-compatibles PS3 FAT, is-it on the to do list ?

We had personal problems while back, but we are working with Cobra 5.0 but this work with the dynarec is something I have been working separately from the Cobra issue but now because we have little time even in this, I can absolutely guarantee that we are working the cobra dongle, JaiCraB has many issues remember this is a hobby nobody is forced to work and yeah that stuff will be on 3.56 MA.

don't install jfw guys ,when and IF there will be ever a soft downgrader then you might try it,but i bet you will stick with it only half an hour and go back to 3.55

its buggy,it doens't offer any feature,it wont work with tb or cobra,no english support either on the firmware or forums, unreliable support (say it can do this and that but it can't ) have custom and ugly themes

AND REMEMBER ONLY INSTALL OR TRY FIRMWARES THAT WILL LET YOU UPGRADE/INSTALL OTHER FIRMWARES FOR WHEN YOU NEED TO CHANGE THEM

AVOID JFW AT ALL COST AS IT MIGHT HAVE PERSONAL KEYS AND WONT LET YOU UPGRADE EVEN TO OTHER NEWER FIRMWARES

Thank for your hard work with this emulating system, PSX iso emulation is a fantastic feature on CFW, it's one of the best things we could have on our Jailbreaked PS3 !!

About the downgrade/upgrade problem, it would wait, after all most likely we'll never see new CFW or JB above the 3.55 version so it's not a big problem, & with Graf work some day we'll find a way to downgrade or upgrade firmware from a linux distribution installed on the PS3 !! who know !
