A backup of all your game saves so that when they decide to embed more malware in their dongle that erases your hdd for playing a game they don't like you will be able to at least have a copy of your saves.

Good question: most of the people here feel that "they are wanking off the work of others", and at sites like PS3Crunch, most people over there will say that "the cloners are wanking off the work of True Blue" (the true source of their work is still a debatable point), and as well as that, the hate for it has fuelled up even more by the fact that they have resorted to adding in more DRM (HDD erasure if a True Blue clone like JBKing gets detected) in order to combat the issue, which is the sort of practice that would usually be heavily frowned upon in a mainstream corporate environment.

They are frowned upon because the only way to get these new games to work is to have the codes for 4.11 firmware.. and even though they have it, they wont release it so they can make money.. if they were to release it, we could update all of our games and almost all of the games would have full compatibility after several months of fine tuning loaders like multiman...

but instead they make money off other people's work... i guess for now until a different team cracks the codes and releases it to the public, this is the only option for the modding scene...

+ also the Hard drive erasing thing is a pretty shady tactic in a scene of devolpment that is stealing to begin with >.>

It is PS3hax and you made a true blue thread. Look at any TB thread and you will see alot of hate even on a simple question.. Someone types "TRUE BLUE" and it is like a dog whistle here.
You have the whole community coming towards you barking their ass off.

I don't own one. However i can see it being useful to others, who have bought their games.. Sony is the true enemy.. Not letting users play games who bought them. because they choose homebrew, over PSN.. (PlayStation"s ****ty Network)

Thanks for all the feedback.Probably gonna order one next week from lightake. I heard it can sometimes take up to 2 months to get it. Guess I'll be waiting a little longer. I actually considered going back to of, if I was on of, I probably would've already had arkham city beat by now, but I like all the little extra perks cfw gives.

edit.. so i ordered one, if I go ahead and update to the true blue cfw, will I still be able to use multiman and other homebrew without the dongle?

Thumbs down So you don't need the discs?

I saw some games had BR only on the list. Why not just use originals? (rhetorical question, TB has to, for reasons I leave up to you)

Here is the list:

@<GEEK> it is my understanding that the erasing only happens to those who use a TB clone. I agree that it is an F'ed up way to combat the clones, but hey I don't knock a man for his hustle but that doesn't mean I like it.

There are but the quality is dubious at best. I quote "You can't use a TB RIP of the image or a copy of a TB disc"

Really? Seems like BS that you can't use an original and block the fw update.
