You're right. The firmware was eventually brought to us because of people stuck on 3.56.

@BlackDeath_DH , Is this just going to be a JFW feature or will you help others on 3.55? I think JFW shows alot of promise, but for us on 3.55 no need to go on JFW at this time. I like that there is a solution for 3.56. but for us on 3.55 at this time there is more for us on 3.55 overall. Now that may change. but all i can do is speak of the present. Just curious and great work.

Well good work to the DH crew; personally won't be installing this anytime soon, but hey can't knock them for actually doing something.

My question is when they ask for other devs' help, is it only to work on their f/w, or would they be willing to help them out to port their findings to cfws? If it's with the condition that their work be exclusive to JFW, then I can't say I would disagree with devs that rather not accept it.

Regardless, good luck to the DH guys. It wouldn't be half bad if we had yet another option... preferably a non-binding one (it can be the best f/w, but I'm not flashing anything that locks me in... that didn't work too well for sony either).

actually quite curious, BlackDeath_DH, is there an irc network that you go to / better way to talk? Might be able to help with some of the things.

Yeah, i forgot to say something. I forget to say in my post that is not possible to install this firmware from 3.56 without soldering ProgSkeet or Teensy++ (maybe i'm wrong) . So i don't really see the use of this firmware because you can already downgrade to 3.55 Kmeaw (a better cfw) with the same equipement. If it was (or will in the future) possible to install it from 3.56 without soldering; it would have been excellent.
