don't know what firm ware it is but i think you still need a sd card. but you could use the letterbomb method

unfortunately, you are going to have to either
find an sd card: some times they are in phones or cameras buy an sd card: i have a 2gb sd card made especially for wii and it was around 15$ when i bought it, (they are cheaper now) all wii exploits require an sd card and if you have the right firmware, i recommend using banner-bomb over any of the game-related exploits ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Flash-...5046010&sr=8-1 really not that expensive..

You must have an SD card/micro SD card lying around somewhere bro, check all your cameras etc and ask your bro. Oh also what model is it because you can hack the older models in ways that you can't with the newer ones...

Use this guide to softmod your bro's Wii. You will need a sd card, I recommend a 1-2gb sandisk sd(non sdhc) card. Unfortunately there is not a way to do it without a sd card. and I recommend that sandisk card because some cards will not work with the hackmii installer. That guide will get you the latest and up to date softmod possible. NOTE - And be careful, Wii softmodding is very addictive.

You need to format the drive to Wfbs to put games on it. And install carts in ios to make it read from the harddrive . Google search
