Well don't know if this will help but I had got a ps3 one time that the fan plug had been pulled off and had it soldered direct to a compatible power source but I also had one of killerbugs fan controllers the ez chill and it works find. Also good luck with the 4.11

Btw - Did you see my question to you in my last post? Did you solder the e3 linker to the testpoints from those pics or did you solder directly to the nand pins?
Directly to the NAND pins.
