The developer behind Hatari for the PS3, is back with another PS3 emulator, the Caprice32 4.1.0 DBG . This Caprice 32 port allows for emulator of the Amstrad CPC 8bit home computers. And as always, you can find the official release statement from rtype below.

Hello , Originally, I was thinking about to not release to all until I update to the Caprice 4.2.0 version, but since I've no time left to solve some vdu bug in 4.2.0, I decide to release the dbg version based on the 4.1 version. (as you can play some old good games with this version, but be sure to know what exactly is an Amstrad CPC computer before lunch it on the PS3 ) So ... What?: A quick port of caprice32-4.1.0 to ps3 using PSL1GHTV2 / SDL . Why? : It was the first computer i own. Who? : Rtype This is just an old Caprice32 version (4.1.0) for ps3 with psl1ghtV2 sdk . Have no many freetime to work on it , so don't expect to much . You will find binary in release.zip & source code (for thoose who want to look at ) in capold-4.1.0.zip. be sure to read READMEPS3.TXT before install . Original project from Ulrich Doewich at Caprice32 | Free System Administration software downloads at SourceForge.net , so credits for him.

Just curious why this hasn't been news here? I think Homebrew should be promoted, and front paged. Especially since its been slow this month?

I did not realise that this is a PS Vita emulator, one would assume you would understand that PSV = PS Vita, or PlayStation Vita, so one would assume one would post in the right section.

Now that is said, i unbanned you, i assumed you would stop being an antagonizing prick, the unbanning of you was a n00b mistake on my part and i assure you after your next ban, i shall not make the same mistake.

Its quite possible that we could miss a news, hence the purpose of member news submission (which you posted in the wrong section).

I do apologize it was the wrong section simple mistake there. But this was posted here for a week in the right section (now removed). I understand you guys miss stuff, all of us do.. That why when we WORK together instead of against great things can be achieved. Sorry to say but the drama from site to site is getting the scene nowhere.

I unbanned you long before i made the dick face reference, im am not in the business of letting one kiss my ass, i do not need nor care to bury the hatchet with you, as i said, i unbanned you as i did for a few others, as a second chance.

It is your attitude that i find rather distasteful and that attitude that will get you banned again.

@hellsing9 yeah I was just thinking that. As a site owner/runner, it can be hard to maintain the integrity of your site when you feel users are trying to undermine you.

On the other hand, PS3Hax has always done a great job in the past front paging these releases. Usually the same day it is released, too.

I didn't make this post to start a WAR.. Made the post in hopes you guys Front page Rtype's work and this emulator. Also not everyone goes into the forums many people just check the front page. That why i think especially homebrew news should be posted.

Just doing what i can to help the scene..

just so you know this is the Link. (google cache page) . shows that it was here before. So with it being here then removed i figure i repost it.. I think my original post was okay considering the circumstances..

You yourself had an emulator page here, because of a couple pow wows you had with staff you requested someone delete it, it's in the trash, and can be recovered. Without getting into anymore Situations with staff, would you like to just continue working on that page?
