I did the following:
step 1: install the original firmware v 2.3 >> v2.4 running on CFW_TRUE BLUE V1
step 2: install V 2.4 >> v 2.5 running on CFW_TRUE BLUE V2 (the black boot screen)

i cannot confirm for the version string in systeminfo as i use modded tb mfw for jbking, but i can definately say they have improved security as itself does not get bricked as easy as before
