Follow the guide below from chapter 2, part 1 QA flag.
This is one way to get on any CFW you want.

reFSM is another way to dehash the syscon checks.

and it will not help dehashing or such thing

and sorry, using qa is no syscon reset

QA flag allows you to install OFW from the recovery menu. Once you have installed OFW it dehash the syscon checks. Rogero v3.1 is a CFW without the check. Kmeaw has the check so you brick if you do not dehash first.

BTW - Yes I have tried both ways of dehashing and they both work. Personally I think the qa way is easiest.

I hope you are not confused from everyone posting different opinions.

Basically if you want to install Kmeaw, follow my guide below. It will be the easiest for you. all you will need is a flash drive, since you are already downgraded. The files you will need are in the downgrade any pack in the spoiler "things you will need"

You should tell the shop they should be doing this when downgrading people's ps3s.

I downgrade ps3s for people and do this, so they do not have the problem you did.

this is bs...the syscon gets not rehashed. i have tried all of this shyt from wiki but no luck. without the flag or lv1checks the ps3 bricks

i have done all things what is written in wiki. and i know what i am doing, thanks. let alone the infos about fsm are very vague and mostly wrong.

for example, flashing 3.55 ofw in factory service mode. just try it for yourself
then how do you start fsm without any coreos regarding fsm dance?

these are critical information but not right at all. the things are written down as they were told. i think there are a few speculations instead of real facts

thank for your instruction, i look around and its seem this is the easiest way to do

You must first downgrade to Rogero or another no check CFW like the e3 one.
If you enter FSM you will not exit FSM until you put the lv2diag.self by itself and turn on the ps3. So from factory/service mode install OFW3.55 pup by having lv2diag.self + PS3UPDAT.PUP on the root of the flash drive and turn on ps3. after it installs your ps3 will shut off, but it is still in FSM.

take out the flash drive and check the log file says successful. Then leave the self and pup files on the drive, then put back in ps3 and turn on. since it is still in FSM it will install the pup again. after it is done you will be on OFW3.55 in FSM. then exit FSM with the lv2diag.self only on the flash drive in the ps3 and turn on.

But to tell you the truth I have only tried it once to confirm it worked and it did.
I always do the qa way, like in my guide below. I have done over 20 ps3s this way.

So for you to say it does not work and is bs. Leads me to believe you are doing something wrong.

Note - The things on ps3devwiki are tested. They do not just make stuff up and post it.
