The solderer actually used the A/CE and flipped it to the left. Orginal was like this : .-. -=A/CE. Now he did like this, -. . thus leaving it "open" and he was 100% sure it would put enough ohm's? to trigger it anyways but its an extra failsafe incase E3 flasher doesn't has it onboard (I already secured it with tape and ****). Now when I do flash manual, some corrected one from e3 on this forum, I got stucked at the point where it actually loaded/flashed the downgraded bin to NOR. Code:

Turn on the PS3, it will be shown a message asking to insert a Joypad with a USB cable, (DO NOT DO THIS) , unplug you PS3 power cable to shut down your PS3 from the rear (for thise of us with toggle switches you can use this. NOTE. I also power cycled the power on my ESATA unit. Switching it off then on. 6. Next we going to use our jailbreak dongle to set our PS3 unit into Factory mode. Load your dongle into the right most usb port and hit ‘power’ the ‘eject’ immediately. The ps3 will load for a minute or so then shut off confirming our dongle has worked. But switching to CFW does nothing. Does this mean I still need to interrupt the A-B circuit by 'scracthing' or ? (ver-0001 motherboard) Because its soldered to SBE point with the CE connection interrupted. I hope you understand my question. |

Files are on root of an empty USB, *.self and the PS3UPDAT.pup from e3-tech.net (step 1/2) but doesn't do anything. Doing step 2 simply puts be back to connect PS controller. It just won't flash with step 1 files ? (its in downgrade mode, using PSP as jig and succesfully does so.) Last edited by djarnop; 04-25-2012 at 05:17 AM. |

I finally got it working.
Step 4 is gay ****ed up and wrong  First, On phat its the USB left, towards hdd and not right like slim. Second, when u want to downgrade, leave ALL sensors down instead of that gay ass step of putting it to CFW, because switch to CFW (if properly soldered) WILL RETURN AN NULLED E3 FLASH. Meaning doesn't do ****. So keep it down to OFW when trying to downgrade. Once downgraded, use you're biggest HDD for CFW (obvious). Create another BIOS backup of <=3.55 of firmware to you're SD and save on PC aswell. Rename you're CFW backup to bkpe3.bin. Once done put it into E3(sd card still talking about). Afterwards all switches down except for OFW up (CFW) and ps3flash up (E3 flash) and hit start. Once done turn off console. Put all down except CFW and boot. Bam you got working 3.55. Turn off, switch to small HD and boot OFW. It talks **** about wrong HDD blabla software update. Update to 4.11. Do it done. I download PDF editor this weekend and make better understand able PDF. Because the edit still is not much of help. And I found out my tristrate point was soldered good aswell Note, by double flashing you're CFW you directly got an BIOS backup incase **** goes wrong and u directly know if it works or not without "debugging" and debricking. But on other hand you would not be able to retrieve an orginal bios backup before CFW so doesnt really matter what i just sed |

E3 Flasher Fast Dual Boot
Hey everyone hoping ye can help, im currently trying to set up my PS3 slim for fast dual booting using the e3 flasher limited edition but im stuck at a certain point. I have all the wires soldered inside the PS3 and points A-B scratched out. I can successfully downgrade my first 1 TB Hdd to true blue V2 3.55CFW, at which point i flash the on board nor chip of the E3 flasher. Once this is done i turn off PS3 by removing power cord, i remove the CFW 3.55 Hdd and insert a 160GB hdd and switch the EŁ flasher from CFW to OFW and turn on the PS3 at which point i try to upgrade that 160GB hdd to OFW 4.00 but i keep getting 'error data is corrupted 8002f157'. Any help ye could give would be great thanks.
