SimonBuck ninjad me to it: Put the 2 (BLUSXXXXXX) folders in a folder called GAMEZ on your external.
Red Dead will only really work from internal as it has a +4gb psarc file. You need to use the split4g tool and then place the split parts on the external. Multiman can deal with these split files if you transfer back to internal. (I cant remember what happens if you can play the game without rejoing the files from external usb) Internal is definitely best for red dead though, its only 6-7gb "cache" file if i remember right. |

(1) What is the full path if I copy to internal? (2) I am deleting the file in the PS3UPDAT folder in fear ofmy precious mod being overwritten, is this necessary and can it be screwing me up? Thanks guys |

1, once your gamez folder is in place on external usb use multiman to simply copy to internal, it figures out the path for you.
2, Deleting update files doesn't harm anything. |

Alright guys, so close! Copied Red Dead Redemption to internal GAMES folder and low and behold MULTIMAN recognized it! Very cool! Launched it, Multiman said it needed to change some permissions, BAM, back to XMB. Relaunched Multiman, it hung. Powered off and on, now Multiman along with all other icons in that grouping were gone. After crying for sometime turned unit back on, back to normal but game still doesn't work. Could it just be a back backup? I am trying a couple of others now..
Thanks guys, I think we are almost there.. |

Always best to have a game disc in as most need a disc in your BD drive even if they never use it. |
