I'm having the same issue with mp4 playback.

Also, is there any way to list tracks by ID3 tag in showtime? There are lots of albums that list the tracks alphabetically instead of in track order.

I created a playlist and had everything sorted correctly but showtime loads the playlist alphabetically just like it lists the folder.

Also another question...For some reason after an hour or so sometimes, I lose all ability to use the buttons to play a song, select a song, pause a song, skip a song, etc. All ability is gone. I can navigate folders but not start/queue or do anything with my music

Is there anyway to remove the XMB link from showtime? I don't have any media files saved locally to the PS3. Every time I launch Showtime I have to back out of the XMB page and go to the home page to access my network share. It's not a huge deal, just an extra step I would like to cut out if I can.

I have a problem with multiman and showtime. I installed the newest version of multiman and the problems started.

When I try to open mkv from my ntfs drive it starts the file transfer. After it completes and the Showtime starts I get following error:

Unable to open resource
file:///dev_hdd1/multiman
No such file or directory

Is there some setting that I have to modify or is this a bug?

I guess your MKV is larger than the dev_hdd1 partition.

Try splitting the MKV using a multipart RAR with No-compression. Make parts 1GB.

Showtime should be able to open it, even from a FAT32 disk

@deank is it possible to add a verification for free space available before copy/move and before the paste as ISO?

Is dev_hdd1 the default location where the Multiman caches MKVs? I'm just a little bit confused because I could play large MKVs before I installed 04.03.00 update. I even removed Multiman and reinstalled but it still does not work.

I could go back to old version but I like the new filemanager so much.

yes, you can .... select .mkv and .str files when you create the multipart .rar split (remember that should not be compressed)
