Doubt about playing in ultra settings

Can I play the latest games (BF3, Skyrim, etc.), the most graphics intensive games, and upcoming games in Ultra Settings and Max Resolution (1920:1080, 1080p, HDMI) with these specs and without lagging?

CPU - Intel Core i5 2500
GPU - Saphire Radeon HD 6870
RAM - G.Skill DIMM 8 GB DDR3-1600
PSU - Thermaltake Litepower 600W

Depends on how many fps is your minimum for being laggy.

The minimun FPS for being laggy is when you begin to notice there's lag. I want to know if I have a "clean" gameplay with these specs, preferably, above the minimun FPS.

That's not answer that's a definition. Also one's person "lag" is not another persons "lag". People's eyes are different. What you're probably asking is can I get 60 fps in these games (which is what we consider consistent)?

1. You should run benchmarks and find out what they are.
2. You have not stated your core speed on your CPU or GPU (I personally run my i5 at 4Ghz as opposed to the 2.66Ghz it comes set at).
3. You should probably check to make sure you have the latest graphics card update as they cater to the new games and provide performance boosts for them.
4. You're using an ATI card...
5. You should probably use another forum (I realize you are in the correct section!) as people would probably have more knowledge and be able to inform you whether you can or can't run at a decent frame rate more quickly that here (google is your friend!)
6. You could search google to see if anyone else has asked this question with a similar setup.
7. You're using an ATI card...

I'm going to build a computer, that's why I'm asking all this.
The CPU core speed is 3.3 GHZ.

The CPU is fine and for the most part the GPU is fine.
Depends on the resolution of the game and settings of the game you plan on setting it at.
You want to run 1920x1080, that GPU will probably not run all games at that resolution on highest settings at a consistent 60 FPS, Not all games are the same.
6850 is a good card and should perform well on most if not all games.
If you are unsure of the card get one better and get a 6870 (similar in price).

I think you mean't 6870, because that's the card I initially spoke about. I never spoke about the 6850.
Will the 6870 play all games maxed out at 1920:1080 1080p with HDMI?

Play on ulta settings? don't think so with the high-end games. High settings, eh maybe on some games. You are more likely to get high

Here are some benchmarking sites:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...arts,2776.html

Here is a video:

PS: BF3 on highest settings on that card at 1920x1080 = don't think so, same goes for skyrim.
but im not an amd person so cant take my word on it lol.

So your saying that I'm wrong for "thinking" it won't run?
Don't see how that works but like I've said the 6870 is a good card while I don't have one to actually test and validate anything I say maybe someone here who has one or one similar can pitch some advice maybe @BobbyBlunt .
