Post Tutorial ReactPSN 2.20 and Fix TB CFW V2

Disclaimer USE at your own RISK

ReactPSN 2.20 TB CFW V2 Fix:

As long as you had it working before here's what you need to do - Install your True Blue firmware, install the latest spoofer from Codename: REBUG - make sure you use this one and not another one. Activate the spoofer. It will say 4.00 True Blue.... in the system menu. If you try to run a ReActPSN game, you'll get an error about needing to activate the account. Make sure you have all of your exdata on your usb drive and run ReActPSN and it will be working again. If you ever swap firmwares to something else, you'll have to do this again.

-----------------------------------------------------

TUTORIAL ReactPSN:

I will give you details on how to install it on 3.55 (no matter if it's rebug, kmeaw, etc.) But i will give you certain warnings trought the whole process. Since it's dangerous process.

A) Once downloaded ReactPSN and Dev_blind. You install both of them (as you know Dev_blind allows writing on Dev_Flash section of the ps3)

B) First we go and open ReactPSN and your screen will go black. Once opened, you press L1 and MANTAIN it pressed. This will create a backup of .rap files of our data on our own PS3.

When we install a demo or a full game or even a dlc or something that installs a file ending in .rap in the console. Well this is the backups can take several minutes depending on how much (Games/etc) are installed on your PS3.
So can take a long time the process.

C) This will create in the external hardrive/pendrive that you are using a folder called = ReactPSN inside of it are the backups of your PS3 (so save them you never know if you will need it again).

D) Now we open Dev_Blind, this will allow write access and in this route *dev_blind/vsh/module/*, You say YES to the two messages that appears.
Now you can open this route with multiman file manager or comgenie awesome manager or even FTP and with the VSH that were in the .rar file replace the original and copy the PATCHED VSH for the ReactPSN.
I will advise tough that you backup your original VSH in case of getting into trouble you have to reinstall OFW and then CFW.

This STEP it's very IMPORTANT since you can mess up pretty bad here.

Choose the one of your CFW, don't go wandering on the options or doing something else you could get a nice RSOD.

I repeat, the route to the file that you have to replace is *dev_blind/vsh/module/* and the file that you will be replace is *dev_blind/vsh/module/vsh.elf* In rebug they are 3 files.

E) Once finished the VSH thing, restart the PS3 and you will have to creat a new user with the name *aa*, because this user it's the only that the application recognizes. (aa without quote marks)

F) Now on the root of your pendrive or external hard drive, create a folder called "exdata" (without quote marks = exdata) there will be stored the .rap files.

.Rap files are activators of dlc, themes, full games, etc) always you want to download a game from PSone in .pkg format or some DLC. First you have to get the .rap file and .pkg, if you want to activate any content you have to put that .rap file inside *exdatada* folder in root of usb or hard disk drive, not in the folder that creates ReactPSN.

G) Now that you have the new user *aa* in your PS3, and the files in the pendrive or external hardrive connected to your PS3. You have to open again ReactPSN and WITHOUT PRESSING L1 (or backup process will start again) PS3 will reboot again (don't be alarmed) and the user *aa* will be changed to *ReactPSN v2.0 XrifQedat*
X will be the number of the .rap file that's inside *exdata* and it's already activated on the console.

Be advised that it's not necessary do a PS ID, im talking about the user that appears when you turn on your PS3.

H) In this step you just install the .PKG of the games or dlcs/etc that you have already activated with ReactPSN and it's done.

-----------------------------------------------

WARNINGS:

-In Rebug has to be 3.55.2 with correspondent updates and the 3 files that appears in VSH folder.
-Don't play around with the VSH, it's very very delicate!! since you are messing around with Dev_flash you do something wrong here = RSOD
-In order to use ReactPSN in 3.55 Kmeaw, you had to login to PSN store or OFW 3.55 just one time. There were cases of users that connected one time and could not connect any more. Check if this works. Or if you have to do something extra in order to get it to work.
-An Issue with DLC if you want to activate a DLC for some game they have to have the same ID.

Common errors using ReactPSN:

Error 8001060:
This error appears in kmeaw (most of the time) and means that never connected to PS Store or login into PSN.
Fix for this error = You have to change to CFW Rebug 3.55.22 with the respective updates.

Error 80028C0B:
This error appears in the instant when you log in (not PSN) The fix it's the same as above.

Sources: Demonhades and other info sites with checked info.

Hope it's usefull since i translated the best i could regarding ReactPSN i will add more information later and correct some typo errors.

To download the needed files use = google

Hi,

I'm thinking of installing React PSN on TB CFW V2 too, since I heard they're compatible now, but I can't find Rebug's latest 4.00 spoof, all links appear to be dead.

Care to point me in the right direction, or even send me your own pkg if you still have it? (you can PM me). Thanks.

Edit: never mind, found it in a dlc package torrent after clicking some 200 Google links...

What about TB update 2.61. It has its own spoofer 4.11 and dev_blind seems doesn't work, it says that dev_blind was mounted successfully but i don't see this folder. Maybe it's because of update?

I did see somewhere that someone said it didn't woek with the new TB update so I would try going back to 2.5 update and doing the react and then go to 2.51(also know as 2.6) and see if that works

Don't know if it will work but just a suggestion. I'm not responsible for any ill effects. Try at ur own risk
