You did the energon downgrade @stussy1 ? xD Because if you gone too far the emu will be messed up.

I think im going to do some tutorial on energon downgrade, you need the SPARK flasher in order to do so..difficult.

Whats sad people want to still point to that banner where the noobs should start.

Why was the banner put in place? To eliminate some of the question regarding firmware and DG questions.

Agree people will miss it.. Hell there is a time when we all miss stuff in front of us.

I just dont see how we should say look at the banner you noob. When the info is incorrect. the attitude shouldnt be stupid noob the info is there. when it is incorrect.

My advice remove it or update it.. no need for inaccurate info to be up.. just my feeling.

Yeah you are right the info it's not correct. But i suggested (i've done it in another sites) to do some java script = a nice window that follows when you scroll up and down and there redirecting to some well redacted thread/sticky with information of the latest *news*.

No luck so far.

Why not have a pop-up/redirect happen upon first/second login instead of a image banner that takes time to edit? This way they get the message and if it becomes outdated, one of the admins/mods can modify it to be up to date?

Also, the only thing wrong with the banner is the downgrade information. Nothing else.

Working on that idea, but pirate has to be the one to give the green light to this.
