you should be able to play on burned discs, burn at speed 4x and use CD-R.

unless you're doing something wrong ...

edit: oh, maybe it's multiman, use ONE instead by CrashSerious. great app

That was about a useless reply...

If you have multiman you ready to go. (CD-R backups, CD-RW will work as well).

One vs multiman: about the same, i think ONE plays one or two ps1 titles that multiMAN doesnt. (ONE is just a standalone app that lets you boot from XMB)

If you want to play ISO on the Hard drive that is only for Cobra USB at this time.

zecoxao is right about burning at 4x , higher speeds almost make the game useless as it wont boot.

is it confirmed burning at higher than 4x won't work? i'm pretty sure i've burned a few at 8x and stuff. Some burners can't go lower than 4 or 8x.

You can go max speed on some games no issues. but most require a Slow burn. Slow burn you wont run in to any errors. In general slower the burn no errors. Faster the burn more likely an errors will occur.

It is common knowledge when burning any games to disc, the slower the better. Use good quality discs too. The cheaper the media, the more likely there will be errors.

Also make sure the game is from a reliable source.

Do not forget to use mode2/2048 to burn the cd/iso.

As an alternative, you can use Alcohol 120% with the predefined "playstation" profile to burn the games (always the lowest speed possible).

i know i came off as not knowing much about burning games, but i just wanted to make sure false information wasn't being spread. like i said, some burners don't go lower than even 8x.
i can't burn anything under 4x unless i spend money on a new burner but i haven't had any issues yet except for two games (and i think only one was because of burn speed [Omega Boost videos are all jaggy]).
I'm pretty sure most people know the slower, the better. i can't remember when i even first learned that.
anyways, thanks for the "help" guys even though i'm not the OP :P
